Andrew Kirk has taught adults all over the world, including in Argentina, Africa, Melanesia, and Australasia. He has taught at The Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, IBTSC, The University of Bucharest, London School of Theology, and the University of Birmingham. He served as the Dean and Head of the School of Mission and World Christianity at Selly Oak Colleges.

Dr. Kirk is the author of hundreds of journal articles and 13 books related to world mission. Among the these publications are What is Mission?: Theological Explorations, The Mission Of Theology And Theology As Mission, and Mission Under Scrutiny: Confronting Contemporary Challenges.
